SpeedGlass is G.E. LEXAN with a propietary coating that is applied to both sides of the window after it has been molded. This coating provides a very thin outer "sheel" that is virtually as hard as glass. Underneath the coating "shell" is "HO"(High Optics) LEXAN polycarbonate, which is very soft and somewhat flexible.
